Eligibility
Before completing this application form, ensure you have read the program guidelines, these are available for download here: Friends of Parks and Nature Grant Guidelines 2025-26.
The first section of the application form is designed to help you, and us, understand if you are eligible for this grant. It is important that you complete these questions to ensure you do not waste your time applying for an unsuitable grant. If you have any questions relating to the eligibility criteria, please contact the grants officer at Susan.Taite@sa.gov.au.
Incomplete applications will not be considered.
All projects need approval from a NPWS Liaison Ranger or relevant DEW agency staff member in order to be eligible for assessment. Please ensure you have discussed your project plan and received approval before you proceed with this application form.
Successful applicant groups (‘grantees’) will enter into a grant agreement with DEW which outlines the conditions of the funding. The standard Grant Agreement Template is available for you to read prior to submitting your application.
Groups that are not incorporated will require sponsorship from an incorporated organisation (e.g. Friends of Parks and Nature Inc.), and this arrangement must be confirmed in writing and submitted with the application. A sponsorship letter can be requested from the Friends of Parks and Nature Secretary at Pamela.Smith@sa.gov.au. Please download a copy of your application and send to Pam along with your request.
