Applicants Please Note

Before you start

Please ensure you have completed the following before continuing:

  • Read the Friends of Parks and Nature Grant Guidelines 2026-27.
  • Discussed your project with your NPWS Liaison Ranger, relevant DEW staff member or alternate authority and received approval to proceed.
  • Confirmed your group is a current financial member of Friends of Parks and Nature Inc.
  • Confirmed your group is incorporated or has an incorporated sponsor
  • Confirmed any previous grant acquittals have been submitted
Important: Applications that have not received the appropriate approval and included a signed support form will not be eligible for assessment.

Unincorporated groups

If your group is not incorporated, you must obtain written sponsorship from an incorporated organisation. For sponsorship by Friends of Parks and Nature Inc. request a letter from Pam Smith (Pamela.Smith@sa.gov.au).
 
Sponsor requests must be submitted at least 2 weeks prior to the closing date.

Confirmation of Eligibility

  • I have read the grant guidelines.
  • The project aligns with an approved park management plan, biodiversity action plan, species recovery plan or other landscape plan.
  • Our group is a current financial member of Friends of Parks and Nature Inc.
  • Our group is incorporated or has an incorporated sponsor.
  • Our group has no overdue grant acquittals.
  • The project has been discussed with and approved by an appropriate DEW / Landscapes staff member.
